DIY GUIDE – INSTALLING SLIDING WARDROBE DOORS
COMPLETE TIME – 30 MIN
SIMPLE INSTALLATION GUIDE
We have made the installation of your new wardrobe sliding doors very simple.
We have provided you with a step by step guide outlining how the professional installer fits the sliding wardrobe doors and we are confident that anyone with basic DIY skills will be able to complete the whole process themselves.
TOOLS AND FIXINGS NEEDED:
Pozidrive screwdriver, measuring tape, electric drill and drill bits, screws.
STEP 1: INSTALLING TOP & BOTTOM TRACKS
Position the top track and drill and plug into the ceiling or the top wardrobe jam. Fix the top track using suitable screws and fixing (not supplied).
Note: The standard minimum size of a fixing is 610mm.
Simply silicone the bottom track and place it on the right place (make sure your doors will be clearly vertically standing), and let the silicone dry (normally takes up to 24 hours)
Alternatively fix the bottom track the same way as the top one, with the screws.
STEP 2: INSERTING THE DOORS
Install the back door first by inserting into the top track on an angle. Straighten the door and lower the bottom wheels into the floor track grooves.
In case – the door is too high and you are not able to fit it in between 2 tracks, adjust the height of wheels with the screwdriver. Do the same manipulations with the wheels – to adjust the door position, if you want it to line-up the wall.
